About Me

I was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, and went to college at the University of Southern Indiana where I earned my teaching degree.   I taught third grade for 2 1/2 years, then I took a 10 year break from teaching to be a stay at home mom. Now I am in my 14th year teaching  at Cedar Cliff, and I consider it a huge blessing to work for this district.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Scott.  He can be found taking pictures on the campus of Cedarville University as he is the campus photographer.  We have a daughter, Abby, who is an ICU nurse at Miami Valley Hospital.  Our youngest daughter, Emily, is also a junior at Cedarville University.   She is a junior and majoring in elementary education.  We enjoy living and working in the community of Cedarville.

Our family loves to volunteer with the organization  4 Paws for  Ability.  Right now we are fostering a  goldendoodle puppy named Simone.  She is a breeder dog  and recently had 8 puppies that will be future service dogs.  I also enjoy kayaking and stamping cards.
